Setting Boundaries
Do you feel as though the people around often "take advantage" of you? Are you often feeling overwhelmed and overscheduled? Do you feel that your life is out of control? Is your life a series of crises?
If you answered "yes" to any one of these questions then you might find it challenging to set and maintain boundaries.
Sometimes we "feel bad" about setting boundaries for fear of the people in our lives becoming angry or hurt by us. As parents, we often "feel guilty" for working or divorcing.
The truth is that, by not setting boundaries, we teach the people around us that it is o.k. to behave the way they do with us. In fact, children who grow up without consistent, logical, predictable boundaries based on restorative justice do not feel safe or loved.
It is possible to create the life you have always wanted and deserved. Learn to set boundaries, impose logical consequences and use restorative justice to bring your life into focus.
Discover techniques to set boundaries using an educative approach to maintain peace and build relationships.
